Herm Sprenger Pinch Collar for Bullmastiff

Start training your Bullmastiff with this Chrome-Plated German Pinch Collar with Quick Release Snap Hook. This gear is very strong. It is excellent for teaching heel, sit, stay, whoa, etc. Proper fit is achieved by adding or removing links. Just snap them in or out. The links have slightly rounded ends to minimize the chance of injury. We want to make your life easier that is why this collar is characterized by ergonomic design. Traditional wire eye link has been replaced with a solid fastener plate that provides more secure connection. Now you can fasten collar faster, easier and, what is more important, with one hand only. HS Sprenger Scissor Hook helps to perform quick one hand release.

Pinch/prong collars can vary from 16 inch (40 cm) to 25 inch (65 cm) in their length. The thinner the prongs are, the more effect they will put on the dog during training. The size of this pinch collar is 23 inch (58 cm) with prong's diameter – 1/8 inch (3.25 mm). Its weight is about 8.6 oz (245 g). You can order an additional link for this collar, that will add 1 2/5 inch (3.5 cm) to the total collar length.

Please note that quick release mechanism is not right choice for every handler. If you tend to throw your collars on concrete or asphalt, gentle quick release might break. In this case consider purchasing same pinch collar without quick release.

Design of this pinch collar allows to spread pressure in even way around your dog's neck. Please note that Herm Sprenger manufacturers standard line for all companies in the world. Don't be fooled by some retailers who claim that Herm Sprenger products they offer were specifically manufactured for them. This is cheap dirty trick to justify higher price, don't fall into this trap.

Important! While steel chrome plated material is guaranteed against tarnish or breakage, it is not guaranteed against rust. On the spots where links are attached chrome covering layer might vanish with time, on those spots rust will occur on the long run, especially if you live in climate with high humidity. You might think of same design collar made of STAINLESS STEEL - guaranteed against rust as well.

Remember!
There is a general rule of a thumb for prong collars which reads the following: if you need to use more than a couple fingers on the leash while using a prong collar, you’re doing something wrong. So just be sure that you do everything right and then we guarantee that your Bullmastiff will not suffer while being collared with a prong tool.
