fruits and vegetables in dog's diet. Of course, many premium dog
foods actually contain fruits and vegetables, and some of them are
healthy.
However, we recommend you to follow
these steps and to feed your dog fruits and vegetables.
- If you can afford quality and well-balanced diet for your dog we
recommend to add fresh or frozen blueberries to your dog's food.
These berries have antioxidants, which will make the aging
process slower and lessen the chances of getting cancer,
cardiovascular disease and other chronic degenerative
conditions.
- You dog should also eat apples and mangoes. You can either
slice fruits or make puree of them. The best way is the way
your dog prefers.
- Carrots and zucchini are rich with vitamins that will
positively affect your dog's general condition. It is better to
serve these vegetables raw before serving grate them finely to
make them easier to digest. You can also boil vegetables but you
should know that some part of vitamins and other nutrients will
be lost during boiling process.
- If your pet is prone to constipation you may try pumpkin. Both
canned or fresh pumpkin will be good.
- White or sweet potatoes are tasty source of carbohydrate for
your dog. Smashed potatoes tastes incredibly good.
- Make green leafy vegetables like spinach or cabbage part of
your dog's diet. These vegetables provide important nutrients
for dogs.
- For your dog's immune system to stay strong your dog should
consume a little orange or grapefruit. These fruits are sweet
and contain vitamin C. Remember! Vitamin C is not recommended
for Bullmastiff as a supplement. Hypervitaminosis with C- vitamin
is very dangerous for this kind of breed. So one orange or
grapefruit once in two days will be enough.
Please remember!

they can be toxic.
